Sharp, who was born in Rochester, New York in 1962, studied clarinets as well as cellos and pianos at the Hochstein School of Music. Sharp's enthusiasm for performing during her high school years led her to the Boston Conservatory where she received the scholarship. Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp following her graduation. Sharp turned her attention to the stage. Sharp was a part of The Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and was in eight roles on the hilarious comedy Eat the Runt. Sharp was Abyssinia as well as Aida on stage, in addition. Sharp, who has worked on screen as well as the stage engaged in several original projects. Sharp continues to sing and has a full-length album that is in development. Sharp likes to stay fit and stays in great shape by studying Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp resides with her family in Los Angeles with family.
