Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Most famously, she is anchor of CNN's morning show At This Hour. She also co-anchored the CNN weekday morning program New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was one of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the 2016 and 2012 presidential election. Bolduan worked as a Washington DC-based congressional correspondent covering activities in Congress, the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan has covered legislative and congressional events, such as the talks to raise the ceiling on federal debt and super committee discussions. Additionally, she served as a general assignment reporter covering topics like the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision regarding Obamacare and the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus program. In 2007 she became a part of CNN as a correspondent national in 2007 for CNN Newsource. As a national reporter, she was responsible for breaking news coverage and feature news for over 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. She was employed by NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV. She lives now with her family in New York City together with her husband, two sons and two grandchildren.
