Kelly Clarkson

KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American artist and performer who rose to fame after she was crowned American Idol's contest for talent in 2002. Clarkson was born and raised at Burleson Texas (a town located just outside within Fort Worth), where her vocal talents were first recognized by her 7th grade class teacher. After high school graduation, Clarkson moved for a visit to Los Angeles to try to be a part of the showbiz. When she returned to Texas her name was announced as one of the contestants on the debut season of the Fox Broadcasting Company's American Idol, a singing contest that let viewers select their top performer. The viewers were in love with Clarkson's captivating voice, charisma, and humor. Clarkson won $1 million, and a contract recording in partnership with RCA as her prize.
